Laura and Nikola – New York City

Laura’s from Cuba, Nikola from Serbia. Despite growing up worlds apart, they found each other in New York City. I asked when they met. “We’ve known each other for a really long time…maybe a year?”, she replied as she turned to him for affirmation. He smiled and nodded in agreement.
